Tambourines, Pasta, and BGV's

I am excited to announce that I will be touring Italy this Christmas as a supporting vocalist to the exceptionally talented MICHAEL M. SMITH!

CHECK HIM OUT: www.michaelmsmith.com

When I initially made the decision to jump into the music scene some years ago, singing as a background vocalist for Mike was one of my first ventures. He is a stellar musician in every way, and I have learned (and continue to learn) so much from him. I am honored and beyond excited to be sharing the stage with him again.

I've toured Europe with Mike once before in December of 2013, and this time around is feeling like a full circle moment for me. The improvement I've noticed in my voice and my range while singing Mike's original music and arrangements again is astounding. Seeing my hard work pay-off in a tangible way is so encouraging.

The setlist spans a vast variety of genres from modern gospel, traditional hymns, Christmas carols, jazz, and pop, and our ensemble will feature Michael M. Smith (lead vocals and piano), Jessica Payne (alto and bass), J.J. Lassiter (tenor and cajon), and this year I'll be singing soprano, and grooving along with the band on hand percussion (tambourine, claves, and shakers)!

I promise to post regular updates, and I look forward to seeing all of your pictures and posts from holiday celebrations as well, but I am looking forward to spending this season in a new place. A change of scenery can often offer a refreshing new perspective, and I'm hoping to learn something new about myself, my music, and my faith. We'll see what this adventure has in store.

I will certainly miss the traditions of the season, and family and friends, but I offer you all my Christmas album "A Christmas In Black and White" to help spread some holiday cheer while I'm off and away doing the same in Italy.

See you all in 2018

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
